Financing & Leasing
|
Jeff Schoonover, COO |
Our team focuses on lease and finance transactions that are
specifically
structured to accomplish
financing and tax goals in the most efficient way possible. We structure
leases and debt facilities while leveraging off the institutional strength
and expertise of AeroLLoyd to maximize value to our customers.
|
Some Principals may own their aircraft outright. They
may also defer the tax benefits of ownership and consider a
sale-leaseback structure to raise capital while retaining the use of
the aircraft. The title of the plane is being transferred to the
financial institution at an agreed upon value in exchange for a
lump-sum payment. The Principal then makes lease payments to the
finance company. Clients who use this product typically believe that
equity tied up in aircraft can be better utilized elsewhere.
|
|
|
Asset finance and leasing requires an in-depth knowledge of
domestic and cross-border structures, jurisdictions and
title on assets. We provide tailor-made financing solutions
for projects and aircraft acquisitions worldwide.
Lease structures offer businesses significant benefits in
managing their balance sheets and cash reserves. Since the
aircraft is owned by the Lessor, in many cases it becomes an
off-balance sheet transaction, improving debt-to-equity
ratios and the overall credit position of the Lessee.
|
 |
Leasing or financing aircraft requires Clients to
demonstrate the ability to re-pay the loan
before the application can be approved. In general, the
Applicant will be asked to submit financial statements,
corporate structures, business licenses, bank
references, trade references, specifications of the
subject aircraft and in the case of a
start-up air carrier, a professional business plan.
